Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 23 Thai bird chilies, sliced (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • Sliced cucumber and lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced chilies, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  5. Add the fresh Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted.
  6. Serve the Thai basil chicken over cooked jasmine rice, garnished with sliced cucumber and lime wedges.

Notes
