Ingredients

- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 pound cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound carrots, sliced
- 1 pound beef, cubed
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add potatoes, cabbage, and carrots.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- This dish can be made with lamb or chicken as well.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
