Description
Delicious tres leches cinnamon rolls soaked in a creamy milk mixture.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread with butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the tres leches ingredients and pour over warm rolls.
- Let soak for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for better results.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
- This dish is best served fresh.
