Description

Delicious tres leches cinnamon rolls soaked in a creamy milk mixture.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and spread with butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
  6. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix the tres leches ingredients and pour over warm rolls.
  9. Let soak for 30 minutes before serving.
