- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes by peeling and dicing them.
- In a large bowl, mix together the diced potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
- Stir the casserole halfway through cooking for even mixing.
- Optional: Top with crumbled bacon and garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add more milk.
- You can replace cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese.
- Adjust the cooking time based on your crock pot model.
