Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the potatoes for about 1 hour or until tender.
- Let the potatoes cool slightly, then scoop out the insides into a bowl.
- Add sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in green onions.
- Transfer the mixture back into the potato skins.
- Top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake for another 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Add bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Use different types of cheese for variety.
