  • Red food coloring
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into cupcake liners.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool.
  7. For frosting, beat butter until creamy.
  8. Add powdered sugar and milk. Mix until smooth.
  9. Mix in red food coloring.
  10. Frost cooled cupcakes and add sprinkles.
