Description
A romantic dinner for two to celebrate Valentine’s Day at home.
Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
- 1 cup asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Sear steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Add garlic, butter, and rosemary to the skillet.
- Baste steaks with the garlic butter mixture.
- Remove steaks and let rest.
- In another pan, sauté asparagus with lemon juice for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve steaks with asparagus and mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
- Pair with a nice red wine.
- Set the table with candles for ambiance.
