Instructions
- Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl.
- Let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls.
- Coat the truffles in cocoa powder or your choice of toppings.
- Place finished truffles on a tray and refrigerate until serving.
