Rich, creamy chocolate truffles made with avocado for a healthier vegan treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 200g dark chocolate (vegan)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cocoa powder or shredded coconut for coating

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water.
  2. Blend avocados until smooth.
  3. Mix melted chocolate, avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Chill the mixture for 1 hour.
  5. Roll into small balls and coat with cocoa powder or shredded coconut.
  6. Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe avocados for a smooth texture.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
