Watermelon Sorbet Recipe Ice Cream Maker: 5 Steps to Bliss

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

A refreshing and fruity watermelon sorbet made effortlessly in an ice cream maker, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen watermelon cubes, sugar, lime juice, water, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
  4. Once the sorbet reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
  5. Freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sorbet, adjust the sugar to your taste.
  • Make sure the watermelon is fully frozen for the best texture.
  • You can add fresh mint for an extra refreshing flavor.
