- 12 wonton wrappers
- 6 jalapenos, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stuff each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a wonton wrapper, sealing the edges with water.
- Fry the wrapped jalapenos until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm.
