- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just blended.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
