Ingredients

- 500g ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Combine ground meat, onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Divide rice between bowls.
- Add meatballs, cucumber, tomato, and red onion.
- Drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
