A flavorful and tender instant pot corned beef recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 pounds corned beef brisket
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons pickling spice
- 4 carrots, cut into chunks
- 4 potatoes, quartered
- 1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Place the corned beef in the instant pot.
- Add beef broth, onion, garlic, and pickling spice.
- Seal the instant pot and set to cook on high pressure for 90 minutes.
- Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Add carrots, potatoes, and cabbage to the pot.
- Seal and cook on high pressure for an additional 10 minutes.
- Release pressure and serve.
Notes
- Adjust the cooking time for larger or smaller briskets.
- Serve with mustard for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be used in sandwiches or salads.
