Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Japanese curry (prepared)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and vegetable oil, knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll into balls.
  5. Flatten each ball, add 2 tbsp of curry filling, and seal.
  6. Place on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
