Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 container of whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  7. In a bowl, mix jello with boiling water until dissolved.
  8. Add cold water to the jello mixture.
  9. Pour the jello mixture over the cooled cake, filling the holes.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Top with whipped topping and fresh fruit before serving.
