A fun and colorful dessert that combines cake and jello for a refreshing treat.
Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 package of jello (any flavor)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 container of whipped topping
- Fresh fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
- In a bowl, mix jello with boiling water until dissolved.
- Add cold water to the jello mixture.
- Pour the jello mixture over the cooled cake, filling the holes.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with whipped topping and fresh fruit before serving.

- Use any flavor of jello for different variations.
- Allow the cake to chill properly for best results.
- This cake can be made a day in advance.
